
Tableau, a data visualization platform, empowers people to explore, understand, and communicate with data. Since early 2024, I've worked as an independent marketing designer with Tableau under CSR Visuals LLC. What began as external support for social campaigns and internal materials evolved into an extended creative collaboration, working closely with Tableau’s creative teams to deliver high-impact design across major global moments. Creative for a Regional Brand Expansion

Overview & Brand Concept
CSR Visuals was engaged to create the visual identity for DataFam Europe, a new regional Tableau event inspired by the flagship Tableau Conference held annually in San Diego. The brief required adapting the core Tableau brand to a European context, with a distinct look and feel relevant to London, where the event was hosted.
Deliverables included branding, illustrations, web and registration page design, internal slides, and branded merchandise. Multiple concepts were explored during the early brand creative process, ultimately landing on a flexible system featuring expanded line art, color adaptations, and a regional visual voice built for scalability.

The event website anchored engagement and registration with a clear, accessible layout. The creative extended to emails and social graphics, maintaining brand consistency and driving early momentum.

A Google Slides template system was created for keynote and breakout sessions, featuring flexible layouts aligned with the Tableau brand and inspired by the TC24 San Diego experience. The design centered on VizArt as a core element, complemented by line art illustrations tailored to the London landscape.

An alternative brand exploration was developed for DataFam Europe swag, offering a more playful, refreshing aesthetic aligned with European sensibilities. Applied to select items, it introduced variety and a sense of surprise to the event experience.

A playful, one-time-only edition was developed for select DataFam Europe swag, featuring bold colors and abstract forms that pushed the Tableau brand in a fresh, unexpected direction, aligned with European sensibilities. The limited run added surprise and was well received by the audience.
Outcome
DataFam Europe successfully extended Tableau’s brand presence into the EMEA region with a tailored experience that felt local, energetic, and community-driven.
The event drew strong engagement both in-person and online, while the design system, anchored in core Tableau values but adapted with a European twist, demonstrated how the brand can flex meaningfully across regions.
